Not long ago
Bugatti chief executive
Stephan Winkelmann has made a decision to curb rumors that the company is working on a
Bugatti SUV. He himself said that "an SUV will not be fair to the brand or its history".
This
was revealed when Winkelmann spoke at Bugatti's 110th birthday
celebration. Despite the rumors of SUV rejections, Winkelmann confirmed
that the company will release a "further model" which will be proven
this year with "a few surprises". Winkelmann has also confirmed the
celebration tour to commemorate Bugatti's founder
Ettore Bugatti.
But
what is happening now is widespread speculation about what might be
released by the company at the upcoming 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
Conscious information on
Bugatti, previously ruled out the
roadster version present in Chiron, however, thinking about this may
have changed since the question was first put forward in 2016. On the
other side of the roadster is always a prime candidate, it is possible
Bugatti can choose to release a version leading to the SuperSport the
Chiron. Given the relatively new release of
Bugatti Divo and the lack of shipping to date, we feel this is not possible this year.
